Youth & Community
Building confidence, discipline, and connection through horses, polo, and family involvement.
More than a sport.
At Shannon Hill Polo Club, polo is not only a game. It is a place where young riders build confidence, learn discipline, develop responsibility, and form a meaningful connection with horses.
Around the field, families gather, players mentor younger riders, and children experience the energy of the sport up close. The club’s youth and community focus is built around safe instruction, family involvement, and the belief that time around horses can help young people grow both on and off the field.

Confidence starts in the saddle.
Young riders learn balance, focus, patience, and communication through their time with horses. Polo adds teamwork, decision-making, and field awareness, helping riders grow steadily while enjoying the sport.

Confidence, discipline, and teamwork.
Confidence
Young riders learn to trust themselves, communicate clearly, and grow through steady progress.
Discipline
Polo requires consistency, attention, respect for the horse, and commitment to learning.
Teamwork
Players learn to support one another, read the field, and make decisions as part of a team.
Horsemanship
The relationship with the horse comes first. Riders learn care, patience, awareness, and responsibility.
Mental Well-Being
Time around horses can be grounding, active, and emotionally meaningful for young people.
Community
Sunday games, charity events, and family involvement create a welcoming club environment.
A community built around families.
Sunday games and club gatherings create a welcoming environment where parents, children, riders, and spectators share the experience together. From the sidelines to the stables, Shannon Hill brings people closer to the sport and to one another.

Mentorship that carries forward.
Younger riders benefit from being around experienced players, instructors, families, and horses. The lessons learned through polo—discipline, leadership, patience, and teamwork—can carry forward beyond the field.

Grow on and off the field.
At Shannon Hill Polo Club, youth and community are part of the club’s identity. The goal is to create an environment where riders learn the sport, families feel welcome, and young people build confidence through meaningful time with horses.
